Week 6 # 14 - Getting not-so Technical with Technorati

Looked into Technorati and it was very
interesting in what others have wrote.
You could spend a lot of time there with
all the different topics and subjects.
There were different results for the
keyword search, in the blog directory
and advanced search.

Week 6 # 13 - Tagging Makes the Web 2.0 World go Round

I set up a del.icio.us account, which
was easy and now I can add my favorites
to it. I am an avid supporter of the
Susan G. Komen association which I
added. Also I like to garden, decorate
and check out recipes. So these are
added to my account which I enjoy.
Now I can check my favorites at one
spot.

Week 5 # 12- The "Library" Elf Will Remind You

Alright!! This was the easiest.
Did this in no time. We have our
HCPL accounts to check the
status of everything but this is
neat to have an added "ELF".

Week 5 # 10 Play Around With Image Generators

Here is my Meez image.
That was fun trying on
different outfits and
hairstyles. Really quite
a variety and different looks.

Night Photo

Beautiful night picture
of Buckingham Fountain
in Chicago.

Week 4 # 9 - Finding Feeds

This exercise was a bit more
of a challenge. I would put in
some sites that turned out not
to be RSS feeds. However I did
find Feedster to very helpful.
I didn't care for Syndic8, which I
couldn't manuver with as well.
Overall this was a great experience.

Week 4 # 8 - Make Life "really simple" with RSS

This exercise wasn't too difficult.
It was fun picking what feeds were
of interest to me. Now being able
to look at them I can see what's
happening in the news and around
the world. I can also get the latest
weather updates for my traveling
times. I liked having so much
variety to chose from. Also setting
up your account in Blogline was quite
simple.

Week 5 # 11- A Thing About Library Thing

It was quite easy getting the books, but had a bit of trouble tranferring it to my blog. Still not sure if I did it correctly.
